Room Style: Semi-Themed Boy's Room

There is nothing better than a repeat client! This one loved the work we did on her youngest son's room that she asked us to come back & re-style her oldest son's room. He loves Starwars, science & sports and we had a blast incorporating it all into a semi-themed semi-vintage space for him to enjoy.

Here's the room before...

And here it is after a Spark & Arrow makeover!

We anchored an old mantle to the wall to create a unique headboard perfect for displaying trophies & decor. By mixing textures & patterns we were able to create a cohesive look without it feeling too "match matchy".

One of our signature gallery walls brought our client's collection of unique art together.

Storage in kids rooms is always an issue. You need something that is functional & safe yet aesthetically pleasing. To store her son's collection of books we used an old locker that can easily hide any clutter yet is still easily accessible to him. Even when opened it works as a decor piece in the room!

Video game consoles can often be tricky to work into a room. The key is to keep it simple. Store games & extra accessories away in a cabinet or dresser while only leaving out necessities. Another trick to organizing is wall mounted book shelves which we also used as action figure storage!

For kid's rooms we love using unexpected items for storage such as a glass jar filled with plastic bugs and an old crate for toys. Much more appealing than plastic bins.

We would love to help you with your styling needs & offer a free consultation! Room styling is more cost effective than interior design and gives your home a pulled together, cohesive look!

Until next time! - Spark & Arrow
